Despite higher-than-average increases in the National Living Wage (NLW), more employers are paying above the statutory wage floor, according to our latest research. On 1 April 2019 the NLW rose by 4.9% from £7.83 to £8.21 for adult workers aged 25 and over. IDR undertook a survey of employers to monitor the effects of this latest change to the statutory minimum and assess how employers are adapting.
