Hybrid and Homeworking and Implications for Pay



The report looks at any rules in place around hybrid working patterns; the equipment and allowances provided for homeworkers; how managers are fostering teamwork among dispersed groups of staff; and the impact on location pay. It includes information from 52 organisations across the UK, together employing more than 535,000 staff.

As well as an overview of current practice, the report contains detailed qualitative insights looking at how employers are managing hybrid workers; the benefits they perceive from increased homeworking and the steps they have taken to address related challenges. It also looks at the extent to which organisations have adopted four-day-week working patterns.
