Prospects for pay and conditions in 2024 with IDR

The conference will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams on the 14th September 2023 from 10am-2pm

Our survey of pay-setters’ plans for reward in 2024 has generated intense interest and high levels of participation. And you’ll be delighted to know that you can join our online conference on 14 September to hear IDR’s Louisa Withers present the findings, with commentary and additional context, including the latest pay trends.

Ken Mulkearn will provide a broader view of the implications for reward decisions in 2024 and the contextual factors at play, including insights into the economy and the labour market.

We are pleased to announce we will have Sarah De Vere from Office for Students with us for the session who will share the journey her organisation has undertaken to identify and analyse gender pay gaps. She will specifically discuss the positive actions that the OFS has taken following the identification of factors influencing gender pay gap figures.

Lastly, our regular guest, employment law expert Darren Newman will delve into crucial employment law issues, including the Government's new Strike Act, the impact of EU law on annual leave and holiday pay calculations, and the Labour Party's plans for employment law, among other pertinent topics.

There will be a Q&A session after each presentation. We look forward to fielding questions and also hearing your experiences of the subjects under discussion.
