Inflation slows on all three measures

All three inflation measures have fallen this month, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) is showing at 3.8% for the year to October 2025, down from 4.1% in September. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) fell by 0.2 percentage points from 3.8% in September to 3.6%; as did the Retail Prices Index (RPI) – from 4.5% to 4.3%.
